Breetai is able survive and function in the vacuum of space for several minutes without any protective suit or oxygen source. In addition to his size, Breetai is stronger and more resilient than most Zentraedi as is demonstrated in episodes 10 and 11 of the series. In and, Breetai, after being micronized, wears a different face plate in the form of a helmet that covers his entire head. To cover his injuries, Breetai wears a metal alloy prosthesis on the right side of his face with a glittering crystal lens in place of his right eye. The right half of Breetai's scalp and nearly half his face were severely burned in a battle with the Invid many years earlier. Breetai is the second largest Zentraedi after Dolza himself (although Breetai is eventually micronized to human form in ).īreetai has black hair and one dark blue eye. states that Breetai stands 13.54 metres (44.4 feet) tall and weighs 16,750kg (36,930lbs), although in the Jack McKinney Robotech novels, Breetai's height exceeds 18.3 metres (60 feet).

Breetai was one of the original creations of the Robotech Masters, and has lived for over 500,000 years. In the fictional " Robotech" universe, Commander Breetai is second in command of all Zentradi forces, after Supreme Commander Dolza himself.
